"Failure to maintain a single lane" is the most common reason officers give for a DWI traffic stop. In State v. Hardin (Tex. Crim. App. Nov. 2022), the Court of Criminal Appeals held that Transportation Code § 545.060 is violated only when a driver fails to stay in the lane and the movement is unsafe — so touching or briefly crossing the line, without more, does not justify a stop.
